Property Cable & Internet Information
Please see the following information regarding the Cable TV and Internet services that are included at your property. If you would like to add services, we highly recommend subscribing to Charter Spectrum as most Winkler properties (except for Winkler Oaks and Winkler Square) are already wired for their services. Charter Spectrum offers some of the highest performance services and best value in the region.
* Properties that include Cable TV and Internet services will have an HD cable box and internet modem located in the common area of the apartment. This equipment is not to be removed from the apartment at any time. You may rent a personal cable box for your bedroom at no charge, however, you are responsible for picking up and returning any additional cable boxes.
** Only properties that include “wireless” internet include WiFi. All other properties that include internet will have an internet modem ethernet connection, but will need a wireless router to enable WiFi. If a wireless Netgear router is provided at your property, you may need to reset the router to restore the original network name and password (labeled on the back of the router). To reset the router, simply hold down the reset button on the back of the router for 5 seconds.
* Spectrum cable boxes can be rented (at properties with Spectrum accounts) at no additional cost for bedrooms by visiting the local Spectrum office. Tenants are responsible for picking up and returning personal cable boxes for their bedrooms.
** All wireless routers require an initial setup process to be completed to establish a wireless internet connection after being connected to a modem for first time.
